ENG "Zuul Nation is a collective project which brings together varied forms of artistic expression, mainly music, but theatre and video as well. Originally created to be a musical project, Zuul Nation originates in a group of musicians living in Lisbon, Portugal, and had its first public presentation under the name of Zuul in 2005. Later, it was re-designed as a broader project named Zuul Nation. Other artists also collaborate in the design, production and presentation of the various shows. The projects philosophy comes as the result of the urban experiences of the several individuals in the group, many times resulting in live shows in which primary emotions are coloured by the different cultural background of each individual. Music being its main means of creation and expression, the project Zuul Nation presents itself as a music quintet with an eclectic musical background: North-American jazz, African rhythms, dub and reggae, traditional Jewish music, heavy metal, and funk are all influences which can be subtly recognized in their music.

Originalmente criado como um projecto musical, ZuulNation tem as suas raízes num grupo de músicos da área de Lisboa, Portugal, e apresentou-se publicamente com o nome Zuul em 2005. Mais tarde foi redesenhado como um projecto mais abrangente com o nome Zuul Nation, integrando mais artistas no desenho, produção e apresentação de espectáculos. A filosofia do grupo surge como resultado da vivência urbana dos indivíduos que o constituem e das diferentes origens culturais dos mesmos. Tendo a música como o seu principal meio de expressão, o projecto Zuul Nation apresenta-se regularmente em quinteto musical com raízes bastante ecléticas: jazz norte americano, ritmos africanis, dub, reggae, musica tradicional judaica, metal e funk são todas influências que podem ser subtilmente reconhecidas na sua música"
